Working with chronic pain patients has its own unique set of challenges: How often does the process go as smoothly as possible and yet the outcome is not what you expected?
It is difficult to deal with the frustrated expectations of patients and their families.
In most cases, these patients also have multiple comorbidities such as anxiety and depression, several combined medications, and a greater tendency to catastrophize, all of which can negatively impact the outcome of a procedure.
When treating chronic pain, it’s important to collaborate with other health care professionals. This allows for the best individualized care possible. I perform personalized evaluations for surgeons and pain doctors to ensure the best results. A careful and direct evaluation will make it easier and safer for both the physician and the patient to proceed.
Everything is done 100% online! This means I can assist you and your patient from anywhere.
There will be at least two consultations with the patient, one before the procedure and one after for follow-up. It is also possible to customize a plan to suit your needs!
During the pre-surgery/procedure evaluation, the scales are applied and any doubts about the procedure are clarified. If there is a problem that requires further preparation and/or prevents the procedure, the doctor will be notified. To achieve the best results, we create a personalized plan to prepare the patient for the procedure.
We will have a HIPPA-compliant (fully encrypted and secure) way to communicate about and discuss cases.
Support for patients and family members throughout the process.
The package with two appointments per patient, support, case discussion, inclusion in your online medical record (if you wish) is $500,00 per patient.
All evaluations are developed according to your needs! Which scales, which patient profile, which procedure(s), etc.
